Refugee Family has arrived in Flixton

The family has arrived, on time, safe and sound. Everything went like clockwork. Children can't stop smiling; loving all their new toys. The Dad, who speaks a lot more English than expected, is so grateful. The Mum continually smiling. House lovely and warm and beds cosy! Everything looking good!

St Monica’s Parish Forum made a firm commitment to find a home, in our Parish Community, for a Refugee family and support the family for the foreseeable future.


This will be part of the UK government's "Refugee Sponsorship Scheme”.


St Monica’s could be the FIRST Parish Community to welcome a Refugee family into their Community.
